In this course, you will explore how to identify common problems in Web design and image formats, plan a web site project, and create designs that focus vital content above the “fold”.
Objectives: After completing this course, you will have explored how to use images and color effectively, recognize the benefits of valid HTML 4.0 code, identify structural problems,learn to apply CSS styles and techniques, critique a site’s usability, and recognize effective navigation techniques. You will also be able to create accessible Web sites, design for different monitor resolutions, use browser detection scripts, and write effective meta content. (duration: 432)
